Department of Architecture and Planning (DTAP), Faculty of Engineering of Universitas Gadjah Mada had done several refurbishments for the campus’ environments and its facilities. The renovation process of some of these spaces that had been going on since several years back is now finally finished. Students and the academics alike are now able to use and enjoy these new facilities. To introduce the new additions, the academics had created an event called DTAP Tour for the students to join.
In DTAP Tour, the students are invited to a small tour of the campus ground exploring the new facilities. The architects, who are also alumni of Architecture UGM, that had been assigned to design these new spaces are also invited to guide the tour and give a quick lecture about the design process for the students. The architects invited are Ar. Jonathan Sanjaya, IAI (Sanjaya Architect), Khrisnamukti Adiputratama (KRYA Design), Tobias Kea Suksmalana (KRYA Design), and R. Bimanova Adiasta Permana (CV Permana Adikinarya).
As a part of Storytelling in Architecture chains of events, DTAP Tour was held on Friday, February 6th, 2026, and started on 15.00 WIB. The tour brought students around the new facilities: Second Floor Meeting Room, Second Floor Lounge Room, Planning Studio, First Floor Disability Toilet, Library, and Doctoral Residency Room. The DTAP Tour was ended with a photo session of the students and the alumni.
This event goes hand in hand with SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 13: Climate Action.
