On Saturday, April 14, 2018, “Bazar Peduli” was held by the architecture students (KMTA), especially the Sosmas division in front of Raya Pogung Mosque, Pogung Dalangan, Sleman.
This bazaar is done by selling basic needs of food (sembako) with cheap prices to the public. Hopefully, this event can help people in need to fulfill the needs of sembako. The bazaar that started at 9 am didn’t last long because in just one hour, the sembako has sold out.
There are several kinds of basic foods sold at this bazaar such as cooking oil, rice, milk, coffee, tea, eggs, and sugar. The sembako is sold in retail and some are sold in packages at Rp35.000,00/package.
This bazaar event also aims to improve the social awareness of the students to the surrounding society.
The event ended with giving sembako to Pogung Raya Mosque takmir as a sign of gratitude.
