Monday, 25th of August 2025 marked the event of Architect Inauguration Day for August Period 2025. The event was held on Pendapa Tedjo Suminto and was attended by the dean of Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada, lecturers from the architecture programs, guests from IAI and external architect partners, and the stars of the event themselves: the students that were about to be inaugurated.
The event was opened by singing the National Anthem ‘Indonesia Raya’ and ‘Hymne Gadjah Mada’ together and continued by a welcome speech given by the Dean of Faculty of Engineering, UGM, Prof. Ir. Selo, S.T., M.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. and subsequent welcome speech given by the Chairman of IAI, Ar. Georgius Budi Yulianto, S.T., M.T., IAI, AA. The next session was the signing of collaboration agreements by Prof. Ir. Selo, S.T., M.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. as the representative of DTAP UGM and Ar. Arwan Suryanto, S.T., M.Sc., IAI; R. Bimanova Adiasta Permana, S. Ars. (CV Permana Adikinarya); Jonathan Sanjaya, S.T., IAI (CV Sanjaya Architecture); Ar. Arief Isrefidianto, S.T., MAUD, IAI (PT Cipta Tuntas Laras); Ar. Wahju Wulandari, S.T., MBA, IAI, AA (PT Global Rancang Selaras); Ar. Primavera Desta A.P., S.T., M.Sc. (ISD), IAI, HDII (PT Meta Desain Nusantara) or representatives to represent the associated partners.
The next session was the inauguration where every graduate was called upon their names by the Head of PPAr Program, Dr. Eng., Ar. Alexander Rani Suryandono, S.T., M.Arch. IAI to receive their certificate of inauguration by the Chairman of IAI, Ar. Georgius Budi Yulianto, S.T., M.T., IAI, AA. The session was continued with an open lecture given by Ar. Georgius Budi Yulianto, S.T., M.T., IAI, AA on the topic of ‘Branding Ourselves as Architects’ before concluded by a session of prayer.
The whole academic body of DTAP UGM hereby express our congratulations to all graduates of PPAr August Period 2025. May the road each of the graduates walk ahead will bring goodness for the society and the people.
