The Architecture Study Program is a field of study that studies the built environment as a human’s basic physical needs. This study program aims to teach students how to create positive influence through a creative and deliberate design process. The scope of the study is from the scale of single buildings to masterplan. Since architecture is a product of adaptation from inherited values and external factors of the site, students are expected to be sensitive and mindful, while also being rational and empirical in the process of creating the best design, not only for the people living inside it but also the people and the environment surrounding it.
Our program is structured based on the following essential abilities needed in the world of architecture, both as a field of knowledge and practice
- Formulating design program into concepts;
- Developing a viable and functional form;
- Determining the use of relevant subjects;
- Presenting idea and design;
- Having strong professional ethics.
With additional skills, such as:
- Improving practical and technical skills;
- Expanding basic knowledge into deeper understanding;
- Exploring more specific issues, unique to each student.
Graduates of the Architecture Study Program will receive pre-professional qualifications and can continue the next process to become an IAI (Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia) licensed architect by doing an internship at an architectural firm or registering for the Architecture Professional Program.
The Architecture Professional Program is intended for graduates of the undergraduate architecture study program (or equivalent) and engineers to develop skills and abilities in professional work as an architect. This program is one of the first in Indonesia and is highly recommended for prospective architects.
Previous graduates have worked in various fields such as interior design, building materials, construction supervisors, researchers, environmental supervisors, government workers, or other creative fields such as photography, animation, and graphic design.
