On Monday, 19th March 2018, Paguyuban Mahasiswa Arsitektur Yogyakarta/PAMIY (Yogyakarta’s Architecture Students Association) visited the campus of Architecture School of UGM. This visit was a part of this association’s current event, PAMIY Goes To Campus, whose objective is to introduce itself to architecture students in Yogyakarta. UGM was the first destination of this event, and it was held in Room K1, Architecture and Planning Department, UGM.
At 4 P.M., the vice chairman of PAMIY, Indra Ambadatu, commenced the event with a sort of brief introduction. It subsequently continued to the explanation from the head of the association, Muhammad Azzam Izuddin (Architecture UII 2015) about the brief history of PAMIY, which is now stepping on its fifth generation. Azzam also explained shortly about its association’s divisions with total number of eight: TKI-MAI, Public Relations, Entrepreneurship, Community Service, Interest and Talent, Science, and Regeneration.
Coordinator of each division was later giving further and more detailed elaboration as to their main work programs. Interest and Talent Division, for instance, has a main work program names Archimony, a sport and art event for architecture students in Yogyakarta. Public Relations Division, on the other hand, has a program called TKI-MAI, an architectural study tour which is going to be held this year in Palu, Central Sulawesi.
Once the last division finished explaining its work programs, it was time for the representation of Keluarga Mahasiswa Teknik Arsitektur UGM/KMTA Wiswakharman to introduce itself to the PAMIY members. KMTA’s chairman, Monika Listania (Architecture 2016), started with introducing this year’s KMTA cabinet name Ashta Brata and its meaning. It was subsequently continued to the further explanation of each KMTA’s division by its coordinators.
At more or less 6P.M, the event was officially finished and was closed by all PAMIY and KMTA members taking pictures together.
