At the beginning of the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, the Undergraduate Architecture Program, Department of Architecture and Planning (DTAP), Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada welcomed the incoming class of 2025 through the Undergraduate Architecture Program Infoday held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. A total of 84 new students walked from the SGLC FT UGM to Room K1 DTAP, guided by members of the Architecture Student Association (KMTA) Wiswakharman and co-facilitators from Pionir Kesatria FT.
At around 2:15 PM (WIB), the Head of the Undergraduate Architecture Program, Harry Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., greeted the new Gadjah Mada Muda students and delivered an introduction. In general, Infoday serves as an orientation program for new students to get to know the Program (and/or Department) by providing essential information, including an overview of academic life, registration and course enrollment procedures (KRS), university regulations, curriculum, as well as the graduation and yudisium process. Through this activity, students are expected to be better prepared when beginning their studies, enabling them to make the most of their four years at UGM.
In addition, new students were introduced to their Academic Advisors (DPA), who will support them in both academic and non-academic matters during their time at the university. The DPAs assigned to the class of 2025 are Dr. Eng. Ir. Ahmad Sarwadi, M.Eng., IPM., Dr. Dyah Titisari Widyastuti, S.T., MUDD., Alexander Rani Suryandono, S.T., M.Arch., Ph.D., and Nur Zahrotunnisaa Zagi, S.T., M.T. Before every course registration (KRS) at the start of each semester, students are required to consult with and obtain approval from their respective DPA.
During the event, the Program, in collaboration with KMTA, also distributed the Academic Guidebook (BPA), which contains more detailed academic information. This initiative reflects the Program’s effort to enhance transparency and academic effectiveness for the class of 2025, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education.
