Entry Requirements

 

1.   Have passed the primary and secondary education

2.   Have passed the entrance test (see each year option at http://um.ugm.ac.id)

3.   Do not have disability(ies) of blindness, deaf, mute, and color blindness (exception for partial color blindness)

Expected Learning Outcomes

16 KU/Generic Competencies, 22 KP/Specialized Competencies, 13 KL/Unique Competencies, divided into 5+1 group of Competencies (according to similarity of the academic substances): (1)Design Abilities, (2)Architecture-Related Issues, (3)Building Technologies, (4) Supporting Skills, (5)Ethics and Professionalisms, and (+)Comprehensive Competencies

Basic Skills:

Teaching & Learning

Naturally uses Student-Centred Learning (SCL) Paradigm

Major SCL Methods used: Project Based Learning, combined with Problem Based Learning, Case based Learning, Experiential Learning, Self-directed Learning, etc.

Assessment

Using different Assessment culture specified for the 5 type of Teaching Learning culture. Stressed mostly on Formative Assessment than Summative Assessment.

(1) Studio Assessment: (Mainly) Project Displays, Progress Review

(2) Courses: Project/Tasks (quizzes, presentation, paper, projects, case studies, experiment, observations, field studies)

(3) Internship: report and progress review

(4) Graduation Theses: Theses Defense

(5) Graduation Project: Design Review, Project Displays

Using E-A (0-4) grading scale.
